The Finnish Folk Metal superstars KORPIKLAANI who are preparing for two dates in Russia with TROLLFEST at the end of the month are pleased to announce their return to Europe and the UK in the spring of 2020 for a series of headliner concerts, as part of their world tour “Land Of A Thousand Drinks”! Supporting the British dates will be the label partners of Nuclear Blast, BURNING WITCHES.
To celebrate the news, KORPIKLAANI presented a fantastic video of the new song “Jägermeister,” recorded at their recent show in New York. The video was directed by Vicente Cordero, with the production of Industrialism Films. ‘Jägermeister’ will be available for purchase as a single digital from December 13, 2019.
Frontman Jonne commented, “Since our North American tour started, we were talking about creating a new video and Jyrki (THE 69 EYES) recommended Vicente which was perfect for us. At the time we didn’t even know which song to choose and then we remembered that we had never released “Jägermeister” since it was recorded during the “Manala” sessions. We contacted Vicente and found out that he had some free time the day we played the last date in New York. He flew to NY, met us at the PlayStation Theater and did filming in Times Square, backstage and during the show. The time has come for your favorite medicine, perfect for warming up in the cold winter days and for letting you enter the party mood! Come and drink with us!”
KORPIKLAANI released the latest single “Land Of A Thousand Drinks” (the English version of the original song “Joumamaa”) a couple of months ago.
