The Progressive Death Metal band The Old Dead Tree publish through the label YouTube Channel the streaming of the new EP “The End,” to be released December 6, 2019 via Season of Mist.
Farewell release in Digipak including ‘The End’ (CD) made of 5 previously unreleased tracks written in 1999, as well as ‘The Final Curtain’ (DVD), a documentary about THE OLD DEAD TREE’s career from beginning to end. This release is limited to 1,000 copies worldwide.
This new EP was already written in 1999, a few days before the tragic loss of original drummer Frédéric Guillemot and demonstrates the true doom roots of THE OLD DEAD TREE. With this final chapter, the band is closing their career by paying one last tribute to their long-lost friend, who disappeared 20 years ago. The End… Again.
