In 17 May 2019 was released “Grand Tour“, the twelfth studio album for the Big Big Train on England Electric Recordings. The British band was formed in 1990 and since then it has achieved a long way, which has allowed to be one of the most popular bands on the Symphonic Prog scene scene the last years. The title of the album takes up precisely the Grand Tour, a phenomenon that in the XVII and XVIII centuries saw sons of European aristocrats attempt a journey to increase their knowledge. This theme inspired BBT‘s new work, an epic journey by land and sea, over time and space, leading the listener to very refined musical horizons, as they have accustomed us in previous works. Once again a confirmation of the excellent compositional and executive qualities of the British band, which after 29 years always manages to amaze the listeners. With a style close to classic Prog, their sound is a mix of IQ, Transatlantic and Genesis, symphonic and full-bodied at the same time, with the vocals similar to Peter Gabriel, they gave birth to their original musical style. The album is available in Digipack CD (With 52 pages Booklet), Double Gatefold Vinyl (With 24 Pages Booklet) and in Digital Formats.
